On 14 June 2019, our school hosted its first ever annual Night Netball Tournament. It was an evening attended by three visiting Primary and High School teams namely: Marist Brothers Linmeyer, St Martin’s and Verney College. Food and soft drinks were available on the evening as developing netball teams from Johannesburg South competed under the spotlights. Warm drinks and heaters were also on hand to break the chill on the exciting evening of winter sport. The evening was filled with great excitement as the supporters and parents filled the air with cheer.
Thank you to all the supporters who came out to make the evening a great success, especially the dads who worked together to braai an inordinate amount of boerewors.
Congratulations to Marist Brothers Linmeyer for winning the overall tournament. St Martin’s took 2ND place, Our Lady of Lebanon took 3RD place and 4TH place was awarded to Verney College.
We look forward to hosting the next tournament in 2020!
