A well-educated person is a well-rounded person. The participation in extra-mural activities is encouraged at all levels. The following sports are offered and as the school develops so will the range of activities increase.
Athletics (Field & Track), Ball Skills, Cricket, Netball, Soccer (Boys & Girls), Swimming, Tennis.
Culture
Unique to our school is the Lebanese language as a part of the curriculum. English is the medium of instruction with Portuguese being offered as an extra-curricular subject. Afrikaans and Zulu also forms part of our curriculum.
It is our aim to enhance our pupils’ creativity through a vast array of cultural activities.The following cultural activities are offered and as the school develops so will the range of activities increase.
Arts & Crafts, Ballet, Baking, Book Club, Chess, Choir, Dancing, Etiquette & Social Skills, Young Engineers, Manner 4 Minors, Portuguese Language, Science & Nature Club, Speech & Drama.
Spirituality
All learners will be provided with religious education founded upon our Maronite faith.
The curriculum will include Catechism classes and learners will have the opportunity to receive the Sacraments of First Confession, First Holy Communion and Confirmation through the school.
Regular Mass is celebrated and prayer is an integral part of the school day.
School Community
We are committed to creating a safe and secure environment where members are encouraged to understand, accept and respect all people with integrity while striving for excellence.
A carefully selected staff of the highest calibre have been appointed. Although a maximum of 25 learners per class is prescribed, smaller classes are preferred to ensure effective learning and individual attention. Discipline will be a priority and will be based on the teachings of our school ethos. Aftercare is offered to the pre-primary and primary school learners during the school term.
