“God himself is an external exchange of love… and has destined us to share in that exchange” – CCC 221. This was one of the primary take aways from the retreats recently hosted at our school.
The second retreat saw the Grade 10s partaking in the YOU programme, similar to Theology of the Body, learners came to know that they were created for love and for a purpose, which involves that same self-sacrifice. The learners learnt about not only growing in their purpose but also writing a letter to their future selves. A reflection of who they are and who they want to be was the perfect end to a day dedicated to growing in God’s love and plan.
